School visits

A visit from an author can really inspire young people, give them confidence and inspiration.

I love talking to children about their writing and reading.

I offer whole-cohort assemblies for Years 8 and 9 (Content suggestions: how I became a writer, the importance of reading and writing, why and how I wrote Crossing the Line) and I also offer smaller group creative writing workshops, for example, aspects of narrative verse.

Schools within the London area will not be charged travel. For more information and fees, please contact me directly.

‘You hit our brief exactly with your talks, which was to appeal to reader and non readers alike. Year 9 is a tricky year group and you had the students captivated.’
